Catalytic converters contain valuable metals such as platinum, palladium, and rhodium, making them a prime target for theft.
 
Marking these converters with a metal etch stencil helps protect your vehicle from theft and makes your parts harder to sell.

•Kits can contain sheets with 1, 2, or 4 marking stencils, depending on the number of catalytic converters on a vehicle.

•Normal operating temperatures of a catalytic converter are 500-800°F, and up to 1200°F when the vehicle is under heavy load. The catalytic converter material contained in the kits provided have a temperature maximum threshold of 2000°F+ before failure. 

•Material has good durability against scratching, pickling, impact, and multiple heat cycles.
